How it works
Project the code
Open the class and put the page on the projector. The QR code changes every 30 seconds, and a counter shows how many students have signed in.
Students scan
Each student opens the code with their phone, types their name and sends it. They have five minutes.
The register fills in
Names appear straight away. At the end you export everything, or look at the statistics for the whole course.
What happens when something looks odd
No automatic check ever refuses a student. If the application notices something unusual — two names from one phone, the same name twice — it marks the row with a signal and leaves the judgement to you. Marking a student who is sitting in the room as absent is a worse mistake than letting one slip through.
